For some, going back to school online may seem a bit intimidating. Many adults seeking to continue their education may lack computer skills, but online programs DO provide technical support to students. Don't worry; you won't be left on your own if you have a problem online or can't figure something out.
Online courses tend to offer an intro to online learning, explaining the various programs you will be using and giving you tips and resources on what you should do in the case of a tech emergency. Online learning schools do understand that some students may need more time to get up to speed on online learning.
My recommendation? Before starting your online education, go into your course overview and find the academic support tools and resources area. Become very familiar with this area.
